With 19 years of creating flavorful sweet treats in various luxurious hotels and restaurants, Lasheeda thought it was time to utilize her talent in a different capacity. Specializing in sophisticatedly quirky desserts, Lasheeda truly believes that there is always room for dessert, so she created a space of her own where she can share her well-traveled experiences and her love for baking.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EShe has always had a passion for culinary arts, and luckily for the sweet-tooth everywhere, this love has materialized into a successful and rewarding career. Prior to creating Queen of Flavor, she received her culinary education from Johnson \u0026amp; Wales University in Providence, RI in 2008. Immediately after graduation, Lasheeda secured an entry-level pastry cook position at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. Within five years into her career, Lasheeda would hold the title of Executive Pastry Chef at Bon Appetit Management Company LinkedIn. A few years later, she would hold that same title at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta and Beverly Wilshire.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThroughout her sweet culinary journey, Lasheeda has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2012, several of her desserts landed on Philadelphia food critic Craig LaBan\u0027s coveted Four-Bell Finest list. She\u2019s been featured in several magazines, which include The Atlantan, Pastry Arts Magazine, Bread Bakers Guild of America, and Food Network Magazine, to name a few.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ELasheeda\u2019s days of competing started in the culinary classroom of a Philadelphia public school. That same competitive drive continued throughout her career. In 2012, she made her very first Food Network appearance on Season 2 of Sweet Genius. She would later appear on the following shows: Best Baker in America, Season 2; Beat Bobby Flay, Season 28; Alex vs America, Season 3; Guy\u0027s Grocery Games; and as a featured guest on Netflix\u2019s animation Ada Twist.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWhen not in the kitchen, which is very rare, Lasheeda enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
